Posting this on bhavv's behalf. I'm 99.9% certain his library of pictures isn't as vast as mine.

Actually it is racist so stfu.

OT: I don't think it will be a problem. In fact, the poor Koreans are going to have everyone trolling their districts ^_^

And Asian players' apparently crappy grasp at English is worse than a majority of first language English-speakers on Guild Wars... How?

WTS Elite 'Tomb', anyone?! Only available to the terminally ill, yet rich unfortunately.

Full of racist undercurrents. Its not dirrect... but it is too much of a powder keg to discuss on a forum.

Furthermore... how the heck would this increase spam exactly? Each district instance has a limited number of people that can show up at any one time. Its not like "more" people are going to be able to squeeze into a district then before.
It is just a stupid complaint that isn't thought out at all that relies on racial prejudices for its arguements for its hypothesis.

Actually, no. Racism is hatred or intolerance of another race (source: Dictionary.com). A statement referring to a race in a non-derogatory manner is not racist. So, saying "Have you ever played Diablo II with Asians? It's hell." is a derogatory and intolerant statement with regards to Asians. Saying "the poor Koreans are going to have everyone trolling their districts" is neither derogatory nor intolerant of anyone.

It doesn't imply nothing of the sort. It clearly states "everyone trolling," which even includes the Koreans - in other words, there will be lots of people about. I think you read a bit much into it.

Please, please, people. For the sake of those that really suffer from racism, please let's not make this an argument that shouldn't be. I'm not saying that people are or are not telling racist statements on this thread, I'm just pointing to the fact that this is a serious offense and we should not use the word lightly.

I guess this thread should be closed if it continues on this path.

I agree the thread should probably be closed. The thing that really bothers me is that some people can't see what they are saying maybe racist.

It's very easy to tell if a statement is racist: if it makes a sweeping generalization based on race.

E.g. "asians play Diablo2 poorly" is racist.

On a sidenote: as with all sweeping generalizations the statement will always be wrong.

You're dumb.

"Asians play Diablo 2 AWESOME" is racist according to you.

You dont say. That is racist too, like saying black men have big... Feet.

Any generalisation or judgement of a race is racism. Why are there so many uneducated twats on this thread? :-(

Back in the 70s and 80s white brits used to make the comment 'Aww look at the cute little chocolate kids' to describe black children. The people saying it thought it was cute and a compliment, the kids it was said too and their parents found it offensive. You dont decide what racism is and isnt. If you say anything along the lines of 'this race is like this' you are being racist.
